Brett Gibson

Principal of Proventarc. Twenty years spent working, building and running revenue domains in B2B SaaS, and the practice is what I do with it. Proventarc is founder-led: the person on the introductory call is the person on the engagement.

Why I started Proventarc

I started Proventarc after seeing the same thing happen from the inside more than once. A company outgrows the way it runs revenue and the handoffs go. One team reports a good quarter while those downstream don't recognise the same business. Each function starts quietly covering the work they think is failing somewhere else. Every issue is treated independently, but the motion underneath never changes.

I have built, and run functions within B2B SaaS company revenue organisations from £20m to £250m ARR, and operated inside Fortune 100. I came into revenue leadership through operating many functions it has to coordinate, which is why my work accounts for how revenue organisations actually behave rather than how the textbook says they should. Experience across EMEA, NAM and APAC.

I cover go-to-market strategy, sales transformation, revenue systems, analytics, customer success, enablement, deal desk and incentive compensation. What connects it is companies that grew faster than the way they ran revenue, and the job of making the motion methodical again without stalling the growth that caused the problem.

A foundation of experience, complemented by the strategy from an Executive MBA from Imperial College London.

How I work

In the room with the people who run it.
The work happens in scheduled working sessions with functional leaders so the answer comes out of your business.
A straight read.
If the problem is not the one you asked about, I will say so.

Start with a conversation

Forty-five minutes to understand where growth has outpaced how you run revenue, and what you have already tried.

You will leave with my read and a straight answer on whether a diagnostic is the right next step or something else. If the right help is not me, I will tell you who it is. No pitch. No deck.
